I'd give this 10 stars if it would let me. Every time I make this everyone gives the eye roll and the moan. Enough said.

Favorite Fish Chowder

I cut this recipe in half. Used a cup of clam juice with the cup of water to cook potatoes and onion. And added a can of baby shrimp...it is delicious. It's 30 below zero with wind chill in Maine today so this will be a great way to keep warm. Thanks for sharing!

Boston Baked Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
I never made beans before but a couple of months ago I decided I'd try. I used this recipe and WOW. My 83 year old father loves them and always says these are the best beans he's ever had. My daughter in law takes a bite and closes her eyes and moans and says the same as my father lol. I've made these 4 times. This recipe is easy to follow. The package of beans I use have almost 3 cups of beans so I add a little more ketchup and brown sugar, probably 1/8th of a cup. Two T of Worcestershire 1 teaspoon of mustard 5 T molasses. And always soak the navy beans overnight or 8 hours. Simmer on the stove top for 2 hours 3 hours in the oven, shut the oven off let them set for 30 to 40 mins just to soak up the liquid. PERFECT I make biscuits (the recipe on the back of bakewell creme) is the best.

Ham N Cheese Quiches

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
I used 2 eggs and a cup of milk for the filling. I think it needs a little spicing up so next time I will add some green pepper along with a little onion in the ninja. I had just a little bit of filling left over. I made the crust the night before ..greased the mini pan up good rolled it into balls set it in the frig over night...this works great. I had a couple while hot then another cooled off. I liked it better cooled a bit. I will make these again very tasty.
