Best Lemonade Ever

Was searching for a lemanade recipe and this one hit the spot! I did use bottled "ReaLemon"juice but it still was very good! thanks

We call this "White Trash" and everyone loves it! I think it is important to make sure you use salted nuts to cut down on the sweetness as other suggested. I used a mixture of plain Cheerios and Chex cereals, salted peanuts and pretzels, ommiting the candy you really don't need that sweetness on top of the white chocolate. This is great to give as gifts and to have out for munching at parties. A keeper!

Peanut Butter Temptations II

These cookies are great. I'v made the same recipe for years. Easier to transport than when using a kiss and my kids love the extra peanut butter taste.

Orange Sweet Potatoes

Only gave it 4 stars because we all thought it was very sweet but rather bland. Next time I would cut back on the honey or br. sugar and add more cinnamon. Couldn't really taste any orange flavor either which I was looking forward to. Good but not great.

Chocolate Chip Holiday Tea Cakes

Have made these for several years. We love them! The first time I made them we thought they were too sweet with the chocolate melted on top so the next time and ever since I just put all the chips in the dough. With a tall glass of milk ~ this is heaven! I also use the mini chips as someone else mentioned instead of the regular size chips. My kids ask for these more than any other cookie.

Mindy's Macaroni Salad

I liked this recipe. The dressing was just a little too sweet for my kids but I thought it was very good. I left out the pimentos and used a dill pickle chopped up for the sweet gherkin. Will make again!

Tiny Tarts

I don't know, I followed the recipe but my family thought they were "alright". I didn't find them time consuming - if you are use to making tarts, but I was dissappointed in the filling. Mine were dry on top and had air pockets in them. I made two batches the first I left in for 25 mintues and they were golden and I thought too well baked. The second batch I baked a little less maybe 20 mintues but they were dry also. I will keep looking for the perfect pecan tart.

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

This was very good but would consider it more of a bread than cake. I also made it in a 9x13 pan and baked about 35 minutes. I didn't use any frosting since others had mentioned how sweet it was but would have liked it to be a little lighter, less dense for a cake. Maybe it would have seemed more a dessert if I would have added frosting. Anyway my family loved it as a breakfast bread and it was very easy to make.

Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

Cooked the beef in beef broth (instead of water and bouillon cubes) then set over night so I could skim the fat off in morning and then finished the recipe. Very tasty every one really liked it.

Bacon and Tomato Cups

First time using an allrecipes recipe but definitly a positive experience! These were very good and pretty easy to make. I followed others advice and used softened cream cheese (3oz) instead of mayo. The biscuits were a little hard to seperate but I tried to seperate most into at least 3'rds some into 4ths. The thinner ones definitly looked and tasted better (not so bready) than the ones my daughter only split in half. I used 2 plum tomatoes, alittle more bacon, no onion but added alittle dill since we all love the taste of dill. I will definitly makes these again!

Carla's Fruit Dip

This was awesome! We couldn't get enough of it. I served it before a dinner party with strawberries, honeydew, cantaloupe & grapes it was gone in no time. I also used 8 oz. of cream cheese instead of the 3 in original recipe.This is a keeper!
