Eggnog Quick Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2002
This was a very good recipe. I had read the reviews about it being a little dry so I added a 1/2 cup more eggnog and a packet of vanilla instant pudding to the mix. It did the trick! It was so moist, everyone loved it! Will make this a Chriatmas treat from now on! Thanks!

Pecan Chewies

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2004
I don't know if I did something wrong, I followed everything word for word??? They tasted good but I had to use 1/4 cup more of butter because the batter was so dry. The batter is not spreadable so be prepared to push and mold it into the pan. I would make again just to try to see if I did something wrong.

Turkey with Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
This was very good and light. I didnt have turkey so I used chicken breast, it was fork tender, very moist and tastey. My husband isnt one for anything mildly spicy so this was perfect for him, I added a little more seasoning to mine after it was plated. Thanks!!

Easy Minute Steaks

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2003
I have made this dish a few times over the last couple of months. My husband is a huge minute steak fan and I wasn't so I was a little afraid to try it, mine has always come out dry and lets say a little chewy :), until I tried this recipe. It really does come out fork tender and has an excellent taste. Thanks so much for this one!

Very good. Mine was a little thin too(my fault) but we used it on leftover turkey subs and worked out pretty good.

Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
This was fabulous! I made it for dinner tonight. Unfortunately I didn't have onions, so left them out but threw in some chopped portobello mushrooms for texture and added the extra eggs as suggested. The family was very happy, next time I make it I will have the onions on hand, I really wouldn't change a thing, very good, thanks for posting!

Shipwreck Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
This is a very good basic recipe, the nice thing about it is that you can add a varity of differnt things....I have to admit that I did change it only because I only had a couple ingredients and it sounded good. I used steak ( ribeye) and seasoned with a dash of the following.... garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt and a dash or two of chili powder while browning it, 2 cans of diced tomato,1 can kidney bean and 1 can black bean, half a onion and half the potatos. Yum, yum, yum......Thank you, next time I will be sure to try it your way but it's so flexible, very tastey!!!
