About this Cook
A committed foodie - or is that I should be committed - I love to cook. More than that, I love to read new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
Hmmm. Anything with chocolate, or chicken, or veg, or spices.... I guess just about anything really.
My favorite family cooking traditions
As the child of immigrant parents, a lot of Romanian and Hungarian food growing up, with a heavy dose of everything else along the way.
My cooking triumphs
My Christmas turkey stuffing. When my daughter was little she told me she worried about my getting older because she wanted stuffing forever.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to mention. But each mistake is a learning experience.

Simple Scones
These were positively awesome! The baked up light and tender with just the right amount of sweetness. I used dried cranberries and some chopped, dried apricots. A huge hit!
