Country Apple Dumplings

We have a new Christmas morning tradition with this recipe. I did exactly like printed. It would be good with a scoop of ice cream for dessert too.

Tater Tot Casserole II

My family loved this. After reading other reviews...I added chopped onion when browning the meat, changed the cream of celery soup to another cream of mushroom(that is what I had on hand), and I have no idea how much tater tots I used because I had a huge bag from Sam's Club and so I just covered the top. I didn't stir the tots into it so they were still crunchy which we all loved the texture.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Love this! I did; however, tweak it to what I have read. Replaced beef broth for water, used chuck roast, doubled the salad dressing mix. Served on toasted hoagie rolls, and topped with extra sharp provolone cheese. I throw this together in the morning and when I come in the door after work the smells are amazing (plus so easy).

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Swanson® Black Bean, Corn and Turkey Chili

My family loves this chili. The only things I changed was I bought low sodium broth, salsa, beans, and corn. DH has high blood pressure and I try to cut sodium where I can. The flavors are still awesome.

Simple Turkey Chili

I have made this so many times that I have it memorized! The only things that I changed was that I replaced the water with chicken broth and I leave the salt out all together. With all the spices and the sodium in the canned beans and tomatoes, it was not necessary.

Simple Beef Stroganoff

Easy to follow however I added worcheshire sauce, minced garlic, and beef broth. The best part is I had all the ingredients on hand. With a salad and garlic toast.....done in less than an hour!

Apricot Chicken

this was a big hit! I did as suggested by others and did it more as a stove top stir fry with broccolli, snow peas, and carrots added. I also added a little orange zest. This will for sure be added into the dinner rotation!
