Easy Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2012
This was a good base for a wonderful meal. I added pasta. I used one can of cream of chicken and one can of cream of mushroom soup. I added 1 tsp. garlic salt, mushrooms, 1/3 cup milk, the onion and the soups with the cooked pasta...tossed it all together and then topped with the crackers mixed with melted butter. Took it out after 15 minutes of baking, topped it with lots of cheddar cheese and finished baking for another 15 minutes. GREAT

Tuna Melts

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
I have made this several times...each time different. I love the availability of change in this recipe. When I made this according to the recipe, I did not like the amount of mayo. So I made it again with half the mayo. I have made this with salmon, garlic powder and creole seasoning added...bake and then top with more cheese. this recipe is a keeper for sure.

Classic Goulash

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
My Husband asked me tonight if I would make something I had not made in years. When he started mentioning the ingredients, I told him "that is Goulash"...I just looked at it on Allrecipes and have it printed out. I hadn't made this for many years and am so thankful to you for posting it. When I moved to VA from Arkansas I made this quite often, but when I went back to driving a tractor-trailer I no longer cooked very often, so I am so glad I have this recipe to use again. This can be custom made for everyone, just by adding green peppers or anything else. I do add a bit of sugar, but other than that IT IS GREAT! THANKS...

Chicken Pot Pie III

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
I have made this 2 times now. The first was made exactly according to the recipe. Then the second one had some changes. I did as others have suggested...I used 2 cans of soup, one cream of chicken and one cream of mushroom. I also added about 1/2 cup or so of mushrooms. I do not like thyme, so I used Ms. Dash instead, with 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning and some pepper. I added about 1/3 cup of milk also. My Husband the first one was way too thick and wasn't like anything he had ever had as far as the consistency went. He said chicken pot pie is suppose to have a creamy inside to it and the first one I made did not. The second time I made it with the changes in the recipe and he LOVED it. He said it was smooth and creamy. He compared it to his Grand Mothers and that was good enough for me.

Very Best Blueberry Cobbler!

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
The cobbler tasted fine...except 20-25 minutes was not near enough time for the top to fully cook. It needs at least 30 minutes or more. Mine had never browned at 25 minutes, so I took it out and checked. It was still runny inside. I finally took it out after 40 minutes. It had a great taste, but I did leave out the lemon.

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
This recipe was fantastic. I did as some of the others suggested and doubled the cream sauce. I did saute some garlic before adding the whipping cream. I am not much on breaded stuff, as another person suggested doing to this great recipe. This recipe stands alone without the breading. It was great, with some steamed broccoli, some red roasted red potatoes, hot rolls and white wine. I have a dinner party in 2 weeks and will use this recipe for my guests. Thanks for a fantastic recipe.

Sammy's Stuffed Bell Peppers

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2011
I make these the same way except two things...I boil a large pot of water, remove it from the heat and bathe the peppers in the hot water for 5-10 minutes. Then I partly cook the ground beef with the onions and garlic and drain, so I can get the grease out of the ground beef. Then I fill the peppers with the exact ingredients you have listed on your recipe and they go in the oven for about 45 minutes or so. Sometimes after they come out of the oven I top them with shredded cheese. This is a fantastic recipe and thank you for reminding me of it...I have not made this in years, so this weekend Stuffed Green Peppers we will have.
