This recipe was so yummy!! It's a nice, basic recipe and the great thing is that it's versatile as well. It's easy to make different variations. I used two different flavors of chicken sausage, added more onions both white and red, scallions, yellow and red peppers, quartered mushrooms, a bay leaf, salt, pepper and a pinch of red pepper flakes. I cooked it in beer and the liquid that was created was very flavorful! It would have been nice to have some potatoes to serve it over, or maybe next time I'll try throwing a few potatoes in and cooking them right along with it. Everyone loved it!
