Andrea's Pasta Fagioli
I used one 15 oz can of tomato sauce and one 15 oz of diced tomatoes instead of the 30 oz of tomato sauce. I used 5 1/2 Cups of low sodium chicken broth (made mine with chicken paste (Better Than Boullion Organic - 4-5 teaspoons and omitted the salt from the recipe. Also added spinach for greens ;-) We absolutely loved it! The parmesan cheese makes it so tasty and we served it with a crusty bread from Costco's called Jessica's Oven Bread /Tuscan Pane White ..... it's delicious! Also cooked the pasta separately (al dente) and never added it to the pot! I did not want the pasta overcooked. ;-)
