Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Heaven!! My first coconut pie and everyone wanted the recipe. Instead of 3 cups hald-and-half Iused 2 3/4 cup half-and-halfand 1/4 cup hazelnut creamer! gave it a little more nutter flavor! I did not use coconut milk but did add 1 tesp. coconut flavoring. For the whipped cream topping Iused a recipe from here called "whipped cream"and used 1.5 tbls powdered sugar and chilled the mixing bowl!

Five Flavor Pound Cake I

This was the best most moist pound cake I have ever made! I only changed a few things. I dont really like coconut so i only added half of the coconut extract and substitited more butter extract! I also used another members suggestion and added 3/4 cup half and half and 1/4 cup milk. For the glaze, I poured the glaze on the cake and then sprinkled coarse raw sugar on top while it was still warm. This gave the cake a little sweet crunch! Yummmmmmmmmm

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Great! I sauteed mushrooms with butter, diced tomatoes, garlic, salt and pepper, drained a bit then added the spinach and sour cream mixture. I was short on time so I cooked the chicken breast on the stovetop until almost done then I just spread the spinach mixture on top of the breasts instead of rolling them up and it cooked quicker and the flavor was great! I didnt use and bacon. Will diffinately made again!

Slow Cooker Beef Vegetable Soup

Everyone Loved this soup! I was in a hurry so I cooked hamburger on the stove with garlic then dumped into a large pot with the other ingredients. I didnt use carrots though. Added a can of mushrooms. After it had cooked for about 30 minutes it still looked a little to thin so I added a can of cream of mushroom soup and it made the soup a little more hardy! GREAT!!

Get a Husband Brunswick Stew

Everyone loved this recipe. I omitted the pork,beef,celery and green pepper. I used a whole shredded and added some liquid smoke and garlic. A keeper!!

Chicken and Spinach Alfredo Lasagna

This recipe was really good. I didnt have the heavy cream or the ricotta cheese, so I used 2 cups of milk and 1/2 cube of cream cheese. Turned out really well. Everyone loved it! Will make again.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Great!! My family said this was the best lasagna that I have ever made! And i would have to agree. I did take some users advice on adding sauteed mushrooms and onions, and adding those two items just made this recipe. This recipe's a keeper!!

Orange Crunch Cake

This cake was very good- Along with the vanilla I added a touch of orange extract.The crunch topping wasnt as crunchy as i would have liked but still very good-will make again.

I made this for our family cookout for the 4th of july and everyone loved it. the only problem was that i did not make enough. the grapes give that slight sweetness that we all loved. will diffently make this over and over.
