Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
First off, I've ALWAYS been afraid to make anything from cream of mushroom soup because I HATE mushrooms, but I decided to give this a try. WOW!!! So good, does not taste like shrooms at all!! I made the recipe x's 4, used stewing beef cubes seasoned with garlic and onion pwd, salt, pepper and worchestershire sauce. Used 3 pks of the pwd only from the onion soup mix and 1 packet dry brown gravy mix. I also used beef stock instead of water. Tossed everything in the crockpot for 6-8 hours and served with mashed potatoes! The gravy is soooo good. Tweaked the seasoning as it cooked. Fabu!! Thanks Julie!!

Wonderful. Added a clove of garlic, an extra tomato and tossed everything in my salsa maker (made it more salsa not pico).

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Oh my heavens. I used this marinade on fresh green beans and cooked them up in the wok... sooooooo yummy. I did add a few more splashes of Soy (low sodium) sooooo sooo good. (I think I'll use it next time I'm roasting patatoes.) Really can't wait to use it on steak! Thanks for sharing!

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
I've made this twice recently.. was good the 1st time.. but great the second time. I uses 1 1/2 cans of tomato paste, eliminated the sugar, added 3 bay leaves, used Panko and a little extra cheese. The second time I doubled the sauce only... sooo much better than the first time. Cooked the meatballs in the sauce (adds much more flavor). Excellent recipe!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
Tasty. Made a few changes, as I always do. Use 2 lbs of meat instead of 3, 3/4 cup merlot instead of a 1/4 c), added 1 packet Montreal Steak seasoning some to the the flour and the rest to the stew itself (if you add this.. you can eliminate the pepper). I also added a few shots of worcestershire sauce and 2 bay leaves. Oh, I also only used the powder from the onion soup mix not the dried onions (use the beefy onion soup mix, gives it a little extra beef flavor). Threw it in crock pot for 8 hours, yummy!!! Thanks Rosie!!!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

This was an ok recipe, it was too thick for us so I added more milk. Next time I would add vanilla like some other reviews suggested, as this lacked a little flavor. Thanks for posting it!

Chicken Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Very tasty recipe. I used chicken breast instead of a whole chicken, which is most likely why I was missing a little flavor, but it was still tasty. My husband enjoyed it, it thought it was too much "stuff" and not enough broth, so next time I will make an additional pot of stock and freeze what I don't use. Thanks fro sharing!

Hot Italian Sausage

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Great recipe. Gave it 4 stars because it need to work on the spice combo some more. First I scaled down the recipe to 20 servings, omitted anise (YUCK), only added a pinch of fennel seed, used 1/2 smoked paprika and 1/2 regular paprika (will go with all smoked next time). I also slightly increased the amount of hot pepper flakes. Will NEVER use store bought sausage again. Thanks for sharing!
