Buttermilk Pancakes I

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
too much sugar and I can taste the baking soda. I'd reduce the baking soda by half and add only a couple of tbls of sugar.

Cheddar and Olive Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
I finally found this recipe. My mother made these in the 60s & 70s for all their cocktail parties. So they are nostalgic for me. This is the exact recipe. Primo with dry, vodka martinis or Prosseco! Huge hit at a New Years Eve party 2007. Making again for 2008, and possibly every year to follow!

Farm Macaroons

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
I decided to use the original recipe first. Way too sweet. I would cut back on the sugar (perhaps only 3/4 c) especially if you're using sweetened coconut. I was going to drizzle dark chocolate onto these but that will make them way too sweet. And I would agree with a few reviewers - these are more like meringues than macaroons. Bake for 30 min instead of 20 if you're oven is cooler.

Blender Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
I just served this over poached eggs, smoked salmon and a waffle - my boyfriend's favorite way to have benedicts. The sauce was so good and the recipe couldn't have been easier. Thanks for sharing!

Orange Drop Cookies II

Yummo! I let the wet ingredient beat for quite some time to get extra fluffy. These did not last long at the Holiday party last weekend!

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
Oh this recipe is easy and quite tasty! I made these for my boyfriend's office meeting and had to make them today because I didn't get to taste one and he came home with rav reviews. I used Morningstar's Faux Bacon (we don't eat meat), used Monterey Jack cheese and added red pepper flakes and a little garlic powder. Plus used the advice and split Grand Bisquits in half. I think next time I will try to phyllo cups for crunchy and flakiness. Yummo!!!
