These were great! Perfect consistency, excellent flavour and very easy to make! I made them at my work as dessert one day, and they were a hit (:

Angel Food Candy

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
Delicious! In my part of the states, we call this stuff sea foam. It costs a TON to buy it in the stores, so I was glad to find out this stuff is cheap and easy to make! I like to use real chocolate, though. Dark chocolate compliments the sweetness of this candy perfectly

Oatmeal Crispies I

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
These are gooooood. Just plain goooooood. In a good way, of course. I cut the recipe in half, and still yielded 36 cookies.. mmmMMMmmmm are these crispy. The only thing I'd change is not adding as many nuts the recipe says to add when you split the recipe and make them tiny as I did, but I won't let my mistakes make me rate this any lower! ...as is the recipe is 5 stars!

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
I gave it 5 stars even thought I altered it a bit! I'm sure the original recipe is quite tasty as well. I added the extra lemon juice(up to 3/4 of a cup) and a little extra sugar like others suggested... but I also folded in some leftover minced, canndied lemon peel. It added an intersting flavour and texture

This was great! I added cranberries and a little lemon extract to give it a more citrusy kick

Molasses Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
It was good. I didn't use bran flakes, just regular bran. I had to add a little extra flour to get them a bit thicker. I also mashed up a ripe banana and added it to the mixture to make them a little more moist. Topped with brown sugar and these are great!

Indian Sweet Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
I really liked this recipe. I used cinnamon and sugar to make this a great flat bread to put my favorite fruit pie filling on: Apple. These also go well with apple butter, peaches and just about any other fruit one can think of to make a quick, easy dessert.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
Wonderful flavour, odd texture. I couldn't get these burgers to hold, so instead I use the mixture as a spread. It's a filling alternative to mayo. I also used rolled oats instead.

Pumpkin Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
This was phenomenal! I made a few changes, though. I used two cups of whole milk instead of the cream and soy milk. I used 3 cups of French Bread and 3 cups of Cinnamon raisin. I also made a sauce out of 5 ounces of evaporated milk, 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of cream of coconut. With about 15 minutes left to bake, I drizzled the sauce over the pudding. Make sure you don't let the sauce set too long or else the fat in the cream of coconut will separate and you'll have to re-heat it. The pudding itself was very moist and rich with flavour!
