Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Excellent flavor, we enjoy really spicy food so I added two sliced jalapenos to the vegetables. I also added 4 cups of chicken broth and only 2 cups of water. Will make again, feeds a crowd

Autumn Apple Salad

This was a very good salad, I reduced the sugar to a 1/4 cup and it was sweet enough. We had two couples for dinner and both wanted the recipe. It was a great side dish with stuffed pork chops.

Clark's Quiche

I love to make quiche when we have overnight visitors and this one is very good. I usually just wing it using whatever I have on hand but I'm glad I gave this one a try, it was wonderful.

Italian Sausage Soup

This is a great soup, loaded with flavor. I also add about one cup of chopped cerery, small pasta, and additional Italian seasoning and fennel seeds. It's a favorite in our home. I once made it for a group of about 120 people and most asked for the recipe, it was a big hit!

Beer Lime Grilled Chicken

Not bad but somewhat lacking in flavor. I served salsa verde and that gave it a kick. Also made mexican rice and a salad.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

This was really good, I left the breasts whole and added 8 oz. of fresh sliced mushrooms and sprinkled sliced green onions over it before serving. I served it over wide flat noodles with a salad and garlic bread and everyone enjoyed. So easy and quick will certainly make it again,

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

We're not real slow cooker fans but this was really good. The only changes I made were to omit the butter (we didn't miss it)and add 1% milk and a couple splashes of cooking sherry instead of water. I used about 6 large biscuits quartered and added them 2 hours before the dish was done. I also added some frozen mixed vegetable with the biscuits, yum.
