SKIP adding the water, you don't need it. If you cook with a TBSP of oil you don't need the water, it would just make a total mess.
I added black beans and Srircha and it was YUMMY. I also used Janes Mixed Up Pepper in place of salt and black pepper and I don't measure. I eyeball it by covering the top with a light layer. If you are familiar with Janes seasoning, you'll know how much to use :O) Great recipe for those that LOVE mexican food.
