Party Franks

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2000
The ingredients sound really gross together, but they make the BEST appetizers. Guests will be begging for more and for the recipe.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2004
The chicken recipe is GREAT!!! I did change the recipe a bit, though. I sprinkled the chicken breast lightly with garlic powder and then added 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to a skillet and seared both sides before putting them in the pan. It added a lot of good flavor. I also took other's advice and used 1/2 mayo and 1/2 sour cream. I didn't have any garlic pepper, so I used the same garlic powder that I used on the chicken breast in the artichoke mixture. I will definantely be making this dish over and over again.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
OMG!! This is the BEST Pumpkin Cheesecake!! I made it for our Thanksgiving potluck at work and it was gone literally in minutes. In fact I was asked why I didn't make two of them. Everyone wanted the recipe, so I had to print it off and make copies for everyone. I will make this again over and over. Thanks for the recipe!!

All American Apple Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
I made this for my boyfriend and both him and his parents loved it. I changed it up a bit... I used 7 apples- 4 granny smith and 3 macintosh. With adding another apple I added a little more sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg... just a little bit more. I also used a frozed pie crust for the bottom and instead of using the crumb topping, I used a regular (roll out from the store) crust to make it a more traditional apple pie. He said it was awesome... I will be making this one again!!!

I thought these were very good. I didn't care for the dill, though. Next time I make them I'll just leave it out. But very good and very easy!!

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2010
I wasn't too sure of the baking soda, so I didn't use it and it's still ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! It does remind me of McDonalds sweet tea, which I have come to love. This will save me $5 plus per week by making it myself. Thanks for sharing the recipe!!

Chewy Caramel

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
All I can say is about these are "Oh my gosh!!!" These are so good and melt in your mouth. I did have to redo the first batch I made because they did't set right, so I took the advice of others on here and cooked it until 250- the hard ball stage and it came out perfect. I'm going to be making a another batch real soon. I won't ever make a different recipe for these ever again. Only this one. Make these... you won't be disappointed.

Pecan Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
Wow!! These are awesome!! I will admit that I was surprised. I followed the other's advice and used only 1/2 cup butter and added a splash of vanilla. I have made 24 mini muffins so far... and still have batter for more. Definately will be making these again!! I wanted to add- I also at first tried the liners... they stuck really bad. So the next batch I made I just sprayed the mini muffin tin llike crazy and then right when they came out of the oven, I ran a plastic knife (so I wouldn't scratch the tin) around and under the muffins so they wouldn't stick. After doing that and them cooling for a couple of minutes, they popped right out. I think the trick is to loosen them in the tin before they cool. Everyone who tried these, have loved them (the 2nd batch with no liners). Thanks for sharing the recipe. I'll be making these around the holidays for the goodie gifts I give out... better than making a whole pie and so much easier!!

Quick and Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
Wow... this was very good. I followed trinawittler (below) measurements for the sauce and it was AWESOME!! I think the only thing I may try differently is to cut back just a little on the soy sauce- just a personal preference. I also think I may want to try adding some pineapple and pineapple juice just to see how it would taste. I will definately be making this one again. :)

I really liked these, but I think next time I will omit the cayenne pepper. It was a bit too much heat for me.

Supreme Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
These were very good. I did follow the suggestion of others and sliced the potatoes instead of boiling them. Before slicing them I mixed the other ingredients in a bowl (including the 1 cup of cheese) and then set aside. After slicing the potatoes (I left the skins on) I put them in bowl. Then I poured the mixture over the potatoes and put them in a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish and topped with more cheese. Baked it at 350 for an hour and a half. Make sure the potatoes are sliced the same size. I used a food mandolin- makes it fast and easy. Next time I think I will also add chopped green onion- including the green. I will be making this again and again and trying different things to add.

This was very good. I did use the butter flavored popcorn oil instead of vegetable oil. It gives the flavor that little extra something.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2003
I made this for an office brunch and everyone LOVED it. I did alter the recipe a bit. I don't care for butterscotch, so I used 2 boxes of vanilla pudding. I also used only 3/4 cup of vegetable oil and it came out VERY moist. Also, I didn't use all of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture. I will be making this again and again!!!
