Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Shake

I didn't want to make quite so much so I used 3 Tbsp Instant Breakfast 'Dark Chocolate' powder mix and 1 cup non-fat milk, 1 banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter and 1 CUP of ice. Perfectly yummmmmy.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Wowww.. this is good stuff. I followed Corrines suggestions such as searing the beef and glazing the pan with the broth, onions, and garlic. I didn't have fresh garlic as usual so I just used the minced garlic in a jar, 2 tsps. Used 4 small red potatoes, quartered. This had the perfect flavor.. everyone loved it. I cooked it on low for 6 hours then on high for almost two hours. That turned out to be just right. Does not need any "stew seasoning packet" or onion soup mix. Definitely recommend this recipe. Emily's Famous Hash Browns

I made these this morning and they were very delicious. I fried them on a pan with just a thin layer of olive oil. No more than that is really needed. It's not as if they turned out dry. They still had the greasy texture. Very yummy with added salt and pepper.

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

The husband and I loved this Mac and cheese. It was like melting in my mouth. I cut the cream cheese in half and used 1 tbsp less flour as someone had suggested. But I used the full amount of mustard. I didn't put any toppings on. It was wonderful.

No Bake Cookies III

I just made these cookies and so far they are not hardening. I'm soooo dissapointed. I can never get these to set. I started the timer at two minutes when it started boiling hard.. then took it off at the two minutes. But now, I realize that I didn't actually start the timer when it was boiling at it's most bubbly stage. Next time I will not start the timer until it is almost boiling over the side, then I will time it at that point for 3 minutes.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Best pancakes I have ever made from scratch. I only had 2 cups of buttermilk so I substituted regular 2% milk for the 3rd, then the 1/2 cup regular also. Ended up adding another 1 cup of milk after trying one and finding it was rather thick.. it still tasted excellent, but thinner's our preference. This recipe also makes a lot of pancakes. After thinning it, I'd say it's almost 24 servings rather than the 12 listed. Our 2 year old little girl loved these pancakes also.

Extreme Veggie Scrambled Eggs

YEAH! This was really good! I did substitute salsa for the tomatoes since I happened to not have any.. otherwise, I followed the recipe just as it is..and it turned out great! I also used canned mushrooms not fresh ones. Worked fine. I did not have tortillas either as others suggested, but it was just wonderful eating it as regular scrambled eggs...served with buttered toast. Will make this again for sure. Oh - and my 22 month old loved them as well! She had two helpings! Impressive..

Breakfast Rounds

Breakfast Rounds were surprisingly delicious. We used whole wheat english muffins. It did seem like a little bit of an odd combination, but it worked sooo well. I happened to use crUnchy peanut butter. It was really good..YUMM! I loved them.. definitely a keeper. Thank you Lisa!

Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies

Yummmmmm! I am so glad I tried this one even after reading some of the unfavorable reviews. But I followed the recipe exactly (maybe a dash more cinnamon) and they turned out great! Chewy, moist, sweet, and so quick and easy. I was looking for a recipe to use up some applesauce and this turned into a keeper! Thanks Caroline!

Swedish Pancakes

I don't know if there is an easier way but I give this four stars because although they were delicious, it took me a very long time to make. Each pancake took about 2 minutes and the recipe made at least 25 pancakes so I was standing in the kitchen for quite a while just for the actual cooking part. So it all took a little over an hour to finish. Any suggestions would be great. Also, I added quite a bit more milk in order to be able to turn the pan and have the mix spread throughout; about 1/2 cup more. I will make these again, though, because they are so good. We topped them with butter, jam, and a dusting of powdered sugar. yummmm.

Fruit Salad in Seconds

I just got done making this and eating a bowl. MMMMMMMMMMM it is soo good. I used Fred meyer brand Lite lemon yogurt. Mainly because I am a big lemon fan but it didn't taste lemony.. it just had that extra zip to it, I guess. So I would say to try the lemon, although next time I make this I may try strawberry. Would even be great for dessert! I know this is going to be a regular dish for our family this summer. It's extremely healthy and extremely delicious.. can't beat that combo!

Tuna Noodle Casserole IV

This is a pretty good dish. It's fairly easy to make and I liked how it uses macaroni rather the the usual egg noodles. We will having it again but probably not on a regular basis.

Garlic Chicken

This is now one of my favorite recipes. I just found it the other night. I used strips of chicken tenders though since I had no chicken breasts. Very garlicy..I used minced garlic - not sure how different that is from crushed garlic- but it works. I served it with rice and it was absolutely delicious. I can't say enough about it, it's extremely easy..very quick to make.. only a few ingredients..not a lot of dishes to clean up after dinner and husband loved it too.

Canadian Bacon Macaroni and Cheese

Oh my gosh.. this is one of the best recipes I have found on this site. I do not make any variations and it's delicious. One suggestion would be to not fry the canadian bacon too long because I have done that and it's not as good when those peices are chewy or hard,I use the little 50 cent sized canadian bacon thats made to put on pizza.

Amish White Bread

This is a fun recipe. My husband likes to make this bread and it usually turns out pretty good but needs to cook a little longer. We keep forgetting the suggestion to lower the sugar amount for a fluffier type bread. Hope that works. We'll see.

Garlic Red Potatoes

My husband and I liked these potatoes but I wish I had read the reviews before starting..I didn't count on the extra 20 minutes they had to cook (covered). I also agree that it calls for a little too much butter and was too garlicy for my taste. Husband loves garlic so he ate most of them. I might try this one over again.
