About this Cook
I started baking out of curiosity. I saw some cookies in movies and I wanted to try them but since they weren't available in Romania or I just didn't like the store bought cookies, I made them myself using recipes from this site. Due to the fact that I mostly watch American movies I tried the traditional thing like Chocolate chip cookies, several Muffins, Gingerbread men, Carrot cake and Brownies. I love cinnamon so I usually look for cookies that contain cinnamon and then always use more then it says in the recipe.
My favorite things to cook
Cookies, which I mostly cook when I get out of night shift. For some reason that's when I'm in the mood.

Easy Morning Glory Muffins
These are simply the BEST muffins I have ever eaten as well as the healthiest. I use whole wheat flour and brown sugar only. I then add double the cinnamon and some grated orange peel and some orange juice and it’s PERFECTION. Thank you very much Debbie!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
I kept seeing in movies how everybody was eating chocolate chip cookies but those always looked so soft compared to the teeth breakers that I bought at the store so I decided to look for a recipe that I can make myself. The first time I made it exactly as the recipe says (maybe I added double the cinnamon since I’m addicted to it) and it turned out soft and great. Then as per usual I started experimenting with it and now after a few tries I can say that I tweaked it to perfection (for me). I use whole wheat flour and brown sugar only. I then of course still put double the cinnamon, I leave the walnuts out and put coconut flakes instead. I also grate the peel of an orange and put either some orange juice or orange essence in the mix. I bake it just as much as the original recipe requires. Everybody LOVES these cookies and it’s a favorite among family, friend and coworkers. Thank you Debbi for sharing this recipe with us.

Spinach Brownies
I have been making this recipe for a while now and each time I'm in awe of how yummy it is. Granted, I did tweak it a bit but the original recipe is still the basis. One time I wanted to make this dish but I didn’t have enough spinach. I then wanted to make a broccoli recipe but I didn’t have enough broccoli either so I decided to mix both and I just substituted the missing spinach with the broccoli that I had (if you have enough spinach use as much as the original recipe specifies because the broccoli is just a little extra that doesn’t influence anything). The resulting dish turned out so good that I have been making it like that ever since. I boil the broccoli and place it in the baking dish after which I pour the spinach mixture over it. Since I’m crazy for garlic and oregano I add some of that to the spinach mixture as well. I usually leave out the mozzarella and use whole wheat flour to make it healthier but it’s amazing either way. I bake it just like the original recipe says 30-35 minutes. A HUGE thank you for sharing this amazing recipe, I will be forever grateful for it.
