I love to eat good food and have been cooking from scratch since I was six. My first dish? Banana Pudding. I LOVE pizza and will eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

1. Breakfast - biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, omeletes, and frittatas 2. Dinner - Fried Rice, Chicken and Dumplings, Meatloaf
My favorite family cooking traditions
1. Thanksgiving is not complete without apple pie, cherry pie, and pumpkin pie 2. Christmas baking: decorated sugar cookies and Christmas tree cakes.
My cooking triumphs

My cooking tragedies
1. My oven quit in the middle of Thanksgiving baking. 2. A blackberry pie overflowed its pie pan. The overflowing,sugary juice on the bottom of the oven created enough smoke to set off the fire alarms and when I tried to air out the house, the billowing smoke made it look like the house was on fire.

Pizza Dough I
I followed this recipe as written. The hubby loves thin crust pizza, so I hand pressed the dough into a 15" x 17" rectangular pizza. The end result was a thin and tender bottom crust. We loved it.

Best Ever Chocolate Cutout Cookies
I will be making this recipe again and again. I wanted a chocolate cut out dough to make reindeer cookies with. This recipe is perfect. The only change I made was to use 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup margarine so it would be a little more budget friendly. If you like dark chocolate, you will like this cookie.

Used baby portobellos (criminis)and skipped the cheese. Very flavorful and the hubby loved them. Thanks for a great recipe.
