London Broil for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2013
I put this in my crockpot before leaving for work this morning and came home to dinner! I was a little groggy this morning and I doubled the water by accident so my "gravy" was a little soupy but a good flavor. I added an onion at the start as other reviewers did and it makes me wish I'd had some mushrooms to add as well! I will definitely make this again! Thanks for the recipe Yvonne!

Erin's Cheesy Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
I just made this and it's fabulous! It's such a thick and luxurious soup. The only things I did differently were adding some seasoning (salt, pepper, nutmeg and ground mustard),hit it slightly with the immersion blender, and using reduced fat cheddar, cream cheese and milk. I may use a little less cream cheese next time to loosen the consistency some. I am so glad to have found "the" broccoli cheddar soup for me and my family! If you like a certain bread company's broccoli cheddar, this is the closest homemade version I have found.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
This is the best marinade I have ever had! The chicken is so tender and flavorful. The only substitution I made was soy sauce for the Worcester sauce since I was out.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
I changed more in preparation than I did ingredients in this recipe. I did as others suggested and left my chicken breast whole and I also added it frozen. I added all ingredients except the corn to the crockpot overnight. All I needed to do in the morning was remove the chicken to shred it. It was so tender and falling apart that it was almost self shredding! And the flavor was amazing! I added the corn and some chili beans and let it cook on low heat for another couple of hours. One of the best things I have ever made and so easy!

Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
I used frozen ingredients (fish and vegetables) and it did add about 15 minutes to the cooking time but who cares! It's like a fix and forget it easy and very good.

Cheesy Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
I thought this was fantastic! I doubled the recipe as I had 2 squash on hand and omitted the celery as I had none and I am not a huge fan of it. I also used garlic in the saute as other cooks suggested. I hope it's not true about the leftovers being soggy, I am the only one going to eat them!!! I made this will a nice pork tenderloin and it was phenomenal with it!!! Happy cooking!!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2011
I made this as a treat for myself and boy was it worth it! I used tomato and herb feta instead of plain and wow! It was tangy, zesty and just delicious! I also used the prosciutto to wrap the chicken breast. I am going to use this recipe on fish too! I can't wait!
