Chef John's Italian Meatballs

Very good tasting. The only thing is that if you bake them like we always do, they flatten out.

Wine Baked Potato

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2014
I liked the idea of this recipe, it just lacked a few basics. As many before stated adding S&P is a must. I also added minced garlic( by "minced" I mean using a micro-plainer and grating each bulb right into whatever you'd like) and I made it 1/4 cup Chardonnay instead of the cooking sherry. One last difference, I brushed with the butter/garlic, then "pre-cooked them in the micro for 5 mins. Then I topped them with shredded Cheddar Cheese, wrapped them loosely in foil and baked at 400* for 20 mins. Perfecto! My entire family really liked them. I am sure this is now a family favorite. Thanks for the original idea.

The dish was delish, the only problem I had was the sauce was on the skimpy side. I made 4 X's the recipe for 2 breasts and one thigh. Will definitely make th.is again

Baked Macaroni and Cheese III

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2014
My husband and I made Mac & Cheese together for the first time. Sorry to say we were disappointed with this choice. It was bland and dry. Our dish was a perfect size for ingredients and we doubled the first 6 ingredients . So it was not that. I would not try this again, I'll just keep looking.

The Best Parmesan Chicken Bake

Reviewed: May 11, 2013
Tried this recipe tonight. The croutons burned. I had turned the heat up like I had read in many of the reviews but I found that to be a mistake. I turned the temp back to 350* and finished the back. Taste was fabulous. I guess I would say, always remember, all stoves are not the same.

they were a hit at my dinner party. Only change I made: I used Italian sausage instead of hamburger.

Chicken Cacciatore

Good flavor. I used a garlic clove instead of powder and added sugar instead of wine because I can not have alcohol. Very tasty and generally easy to make.
