My Mother-in-Law's Plum Bread
My plum tree runneth over so I am delighted to have found this recipe earlier this week. I am going to make it again today, once again I am tripling the recipe to give as gifts and stock my freezer. It is a delightful sweet and sour (plum skins) cake. I served it at a barbeque for dessert spread with plum sauce and topped with whipped cream. Everyone raved about it. I am taking to heart the review that it freezes well and plan on giving a loaf of bread/cake with a jar of either plum jam or sauce. Oh, I used 1/2 brown sugar 1/2 white in cake and cut back on brown sugar topping. Delishious.

Sausage Smothered in Red Cabbage
Just happened to have all the ingredients needed for this recipe and my husand and I sure did like it, ate leftovers for lunch today and I think it was even better. I will make it again.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower
I made this for dinner tonight and my cauliflower hating husband liked it. I was out of fresh garlic so I used dried. I mixed it with the olive oil and let it sit a while, along with the salt and pepper. Used very good parmesean along with Kraft and it ws excellent I can't wait to try it again but with fresh garlic. Very very tasty. I hate doing dishs so I mixed and baked in the same ceramic casserole.
