My beautiful family!
About this Cook
I'm a busy stay-at-home mom to 6 beautiful children. I have a wonderful husband, and I thank God everyday for the abundant blessings in my life. And it's only gettin' better!!
My favorite things to cook
I'm game for anything! I tend to make things I know that my children will like. Fortunately, they'll try almost anything! Especially desserts!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't come from a long line of cookers. I guess I'm starting the traditions, and even at their young ages, my children all love helping and learning new recipes. I do think of cooking as a labor of love!
My cooking triumphs
Some of my speacialties include: lemon-poppyseed chicken, ham casserole, crab stuffed mushrooms, and meatloaf wellington. I also make great cookies and cakes!
My cooking tragedies
Ughh! I tried Crab Bisque one time. Just the thought of how it tasted makes me shudder. I didn't know to rinse the crab, and it tasted like it had been scraped of the bottom of the ocean! I haven't had the nerve to try it again yet!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style
Wow! I read A LOT of the reviews on this before making. I think the recipe as is works out great. The only change I make is using from scratch alfredo sauce, and I use the whole package of cream cheese. I make this for a lot of family and church gatherings. Thanks for the great recipe!

Easy Ham and Cheese Appetizer Sandwiches
These are great and so simple to make. I change some things just for personal preference. I use Honey-Dijon mustard, omit the onion for onion powder, and Kings Sweet Hawaiian Rolls. I usually make 48 at a time, so I cut them before baking them on cookie sheets covered with foil. Then wrap them to keep them warm. Everyone at our church requests these for our Women's Meetings, Dinners, and any other occasions. I also make some with Roast Beef, Cheddar, on Butter Rolls. Thanks for an amazing recipe that I will use time and time again!

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III
This cake was wonderful! It is sweet, but really hits the spot with some coffee. My only suggestion is rewording 'melted butter' for 'softened butter', as melted butter will make the filling the wrong consistency instead of crumbly as it should be. My entire family loved this and I'm going to make another to take to our church Bible study this evening. Thanks for such a great recipe!
