This recipe is a great base for bread pudding - and I read some reviews and experimented from there. Specifically, I used 1/2 C white sugar and then a bit more than 1/4 C brown sugar. I used 1/4 C raisins and 1/2 C cherry-flavored craisins, I ground some dried ginger into the milk mix, and I used "Cinnamon Plus" which is a mixture of cinnamon, cloves, etc., to give the dish a bit more depth. I didn't measure the bread - I just threw it in the dish until it felt "right" (whatever that is). Then I baked it for a full hour. AWESOME!
