I was excited about making this, and I must say I was not let down. It was a big hit, everyone really enjoyed it.
I made the crust as the directions say. Then as a review had suggested I put a small thin layer of semi sweet chocolate on the crust. Then I added the filling as directed and then the fruit on top. I used blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, kiwi and canned mandarin oranges. I made the glaze but I used the juice from the mandarin oranges because I did not use the canned pineapple. I did not use all the glaze because it looked like a lot and some of the photos the glaze looked heavy.
I had extra fruit so I put all my fruit in a bag with the extra glaze and have been munching on that for the lat couple of days.
This is an easy recipe, it can just take time because of all the steps and needing to cool in between.
The only problem I had with the tart is that I thought that the filling was not set/hard enough. It should have been I had it in the fridge for 8 hours before serving it. Although I thought it was going to be stiffer I must say it is not going to be a deuturnat to making it again.
I will defiantly be making this again, it was already requested again while we were eating it.
