This was fantastic! My store didn't have rump roast so I used bottom round, but I think you could use chuck or just about any sort of roast with this recipe. I added a few splashes of worcestershire sauce and I used a dark Guinness for the beer. I bought some french rolls from the bakery for the sandwiches, spread a small amount of butter on them and toasted them in the broiler for a couple of minutes, then topped with provolone cheese and broiled a couple more minutes until it melted, then piled on the meat. Wonderful recipe, and I will definitely make it again. My husband loved it!
