Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2013
This was perfect. And couldn't have been easier! I put just a sprinkle of ground pepper on it too before I realized it wasn't on the ingredients list, and it tasted great!

Chicken and Snap Pea Wild Rice Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
I probably shouldn't rate this recipe because I didn't have tarragon vinegar or dried tarragon, but I thought I'd share my opinion that it turned out too "greasy". I would lighten up on the oil if I were to make it again. I liked the little bit of heat in it, but thought it was more work than it was worth.

Spinach and Potato Frittata

Reviewed: May 10, 2013
I didn't find this dish interesting enough to make again. The flavor was a bit bland, and it should have called for enough spinach to warrant calling this a Spinach and Potato Frittata.

Rutabaga Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2013
I hadn't ever used rutabaga and had never even heard of nutritional yeast, so I tried this. It was OK, but just didn't float my boat. I tried it warm and I also tried it cold after the flavors had melded. Just "OK".

Kale, Quinoa, and Avocado Salad with Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
This was great. I cooked the quinoa, cut up the veggies, and mixed the dressing several hours ahead of time. At dinner all I did was steam the kale (for several minutes) and then it was easy to just put it all together. I posted my picture, too.

Melon Ice Candy

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
This was pretty good. I didn't have molds so I used 3 oz. dixie cups with short popsicle sticks in them, and ripped off the paper when ready to eat. The pops were awkward to eat, so using a bowl underneath while eating it made it ok. A quarter recipe made 13 dixie cups.

Cantaloupe Sherbet

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
The flavor was fine but even with processing it twice, it ended up very icy and hard to scoop after a while.

I didn't care for so much sweet flavor with salmon.

Grilled Garlic and Herb Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
This recipe was a find because I needed something to use up thawed shrimp without going to the store and I had all the ingredients on hand except for Italian seasoning, which I managed to add a few ingredients that make it up. Everyone enjoyed them. Next time I'd add a little bit of heat with a hot sauce or a few red pepper flakes.

Pan-Poached Alaskan Salmon Piccata

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
This was so easy and delicious! I threw a chicken bouillon cube in because I didn't have any granules and it was fine.

Easy and delicious. I doubt we'll have pork chops any other way now.
