Best Italian Sausage Soup

I made this soup exactly as written, except we left the noodles out, and it turned out phenomenal! I made it a day in advance and let all the flavors blend overnight. Wow, my whole family said it was a winner. Honestly, we didn't intend on leaving out the pasta, but no one wanted to wait until they were done...ha. Soooo good!

Old School Mac n' Cheese

I make it with only sharp cheddar and the family loves it. I really think its even better the next day when all the flavors have combined. Kids and friends always are asking for it. Winner!

Chicken Pot Pie I

This recipe is very basic and we considered it somewhat bland until....I made it again with some very simple changes and the outcome was unbelievable! I used 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of chicken WITH HERBS, 1 bag of frozen fresh veggies, fresh ground pepper to taste, and shredded roaster chicken. The cream of chicken with herbs is the secret ingredient that makes this pot pie a favorite with my kids and all their friends. You can add all your own favorite herbs, but when pressed for time in a busy family, I say go easy with the herbed chicken. Use a good quality pie dough as well. I think the original recipe is closer to 3 stars but the final one is definitely 5 stars.

Missy's Candied Walnut Gorgonzola Salad

Fabulous! I made this for Bunko night and it disappeared with requests for the recipe. I used a homemade poppy seed dressing instead of the vinaigrette...it created such a perfect combination together! Will make this regularly.

Famous Pork Chops

Very easy and basic recipe. You can add whatever spices to the cracker crumbs for individual tastes. I added about 1/2-1 tsp of italian spice to the crackers and cut the butter in half. Didn't use all the crackers and eggs for 4 chops. Also baked at about 350 until done (for thicker juicier chops). Also removed cover toward the end. They turned out great and kids loved them!

Chicken with Peanut Curry Yogurt Sauce

Family liked this one but I did make some changes. I added some red pepper flakes and a bit of cumin to spice it up. It was bland as written. Also added some milk and light cream to thin out. I used a roaster chicken shredded into the sauce to save on time and served it over rice.
