Garlic Spinach

yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum- I know how much a lot of you hate a review when the recipe has been altered- but I didn't have lemons so I used lime juice and I didn't have time to thinly slice the garlic so I used a garlic press and wound up peeling 7 instead of 6. OUTSTANDING, this is our new way to enjoy spinach, thank you~

Robin's Quinoa with Mushrooms and Spinach

WE loved all the flavors this recipe afforded us- we have been enjoying quinoa for quite some time and I never thought to put all of this together- Thank you, I even paired this with the garlic spinach recipe that is on this site-

Teriyaki Sauce and Marinade

Yummy- I don't use soy sauce anymore but used Braggs Amino Acids and while it was on the salty side, the flavor is delicious! I did add more ginger and red pepper flakes as I like more kick. I'm currently marinating in a steak teriyaki sauce that I got from my mom that has other items added- thank you for such a clean good recipe!!

No Bake Bumpy Peanut Butter Nuggets

I know how much most of you haaaate to hear a rating when the recipe changed-- and I apologize in advance. I had to sub the apple juice concentrate for some xylitol simple syrup; and I thought I had wheat germ and it turned out to be flax seed. Still sooo delicious! I decided to experiment with a hazelnut flavored spread for the peanutbutter- very delicious. I omitted any other sweetner but feel that a little bit of coconut oil or grapeseed oil might have been the ticket for extra needed moisture. I wound up using about 1/2 tsp of almond milk. I also added a tiny bit of salt as I will usually add salt to anything sweet. (must be a southern thing) Both winners and will let you know what the neighbors say. Thank you for a seriously easy and delicious treat!

Caramel Popcorn

This is soo addictive! I did change it a bit- I quartered the butter and the other quarter I used virgin coconut oil. While it was delicious, it was hard to stir, and a lot of the sugared goodness was left in the baking pan- could be due to the lack of butter. BUT- my husband who doesn't eat popcorn ( I know!) couldn't stop dipping his hand in the bucket! A winner for sure- and I will try the coconut nectar next time as that sounded intriguing. Thank you for sharing- way better than any store bought for sure!
