I haven't tried these yet, but in a family with cheesecake lovers, I know they would be a big hit!

Hot Fudge Sauce

Just made it, have only tasted a little lick of it, but can't wait to serve it with ice cream tonight. Super simple and tastes great!

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
This is really good, but WAY too much whipped topping. I only used an 8 oz. container and it was plenty!

Sesame Broccoli

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
It was a little weak on flavor, even after I added s&p and 3 cloves of garlic. And I had to add water so it didn't burn.

Blueberry-Orange Muffins

Reviewed: May 30, 2010
Good muffins, but I made some changes. I halved this recipe and used white whole wheat flour and for the topping all I did was sprinkle turbinado sugar on the tops. They turned out great!

Gingerbread Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2009
I changed the flour to white whole wheat, used Egg Beaters With a Touch of Yolk (1/2 cup) and think the cloves is a bit much. I only made 1/2 a recipe and would suggest only about 1/4 t. cloves. The pancakes are good, but the cloves taste is too strong. Still--good. The kids had fun with chocolate chips and I put maple syrup and some more chopped hazelnuts on mine. Yum!

Pumpkin Chip Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
These are so freakin' good! I was looking for a lighter type cupcake for my son's Halloween party at school where they still want "healthier" treats. I love that these have no refined sugar! (minus the icing) I thought they wouldn't be sweet enough without sugar, but they are delicious and so moist and just what I was looking for. After icing them, I put a chocolate eyeball on top for a little "scary" decoration. Love these!

Fruit 'N' Nut Tossed Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2008
This salad is quite yummy because my husband doesn't like fruit in his salad and I was really craving it, so I loved it. I threw a few sugar snap peas in and used segement of an actual orange as I was out of mandarin oranges. I also threw in a few Craisins. The only change I would make is to use A LOT less sugar next time. While good, it was TOO sweet. I guess it just depends on taste. BUT yum for the fruit salad I was craving!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
These ARE yummy! I added about 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. No need for frosting. Maybe wouldn't say they are the BEST brownies I've ever had, but for the little bit of ingredients and easy to make, they are perfect. Great alternative to the box brownie mixes.

Just as most everyone else says, DELICIOUS! Great Snickerdoodle. Gotta love Mrs. Sigg! Thanks. I'd lost my original Snickerdoodle recipe and this one is great. Do 8 minutes exactly.

Peanut Butter No-Bakes

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
I did exactly as the recipe says, but only got 14, so must have made them too big. Confused though as it says makes 3 doz. on the top description (which would be REALLY small), then when it gives how many the recipe makes in another section, it says 18. Either way, these aren't that great. It instantly made the crispy rice cereal not crispy anymore. They will still probably be tasty, just not crunchy. I think it needed MORE cereal. Would be good with oatmeal/granola as suggested.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
Not bad! I used whole wheat pasta and also added some broccoli, some red peppers and the mushrooms. Definitely needs 3-4 cloves of fresh sauteed garlic (not just powder.)

Banana Muffins I

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2008
These were yummy! The changes I made were I used 1/4 cup Dannon Light & Fit Carb & Sugar Control Vanilla Yogurt for the sour cream. (It's what I had.) I also used 1 cup oat bran flour instead of all purpose to bump up the nutrition. I also added 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (my kids love them that way.) I made 30 mini muffins. (Only 53 calories and 8 carbs each--even with my add-ins.) I just realized that I didn't even realize the recipe called for 1 T. of baking powder, so I only used 1 t. and they were great. Some reviews say 1 T. was too much, so just so you know they work fine with less!

Cherry Mash Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
I'm making this right now, the cherry layer is cooling. I have a feeling it's also not going to set up. As I was simmering the stuff I had a feeling it should be cooked to a certain "ball stage", wish I would have gone with my instincts. I'll be really upset if it doesn't totally set up.

Special Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
Did care for this. Thought it wasn't worth the 2 cups of applesauce as well as the other ingredients. Not enough strong flavors. Sorry, I wanted to like it and was looking forward to it, but it wasn't very good.

Chewy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2006
I don't have time to read all the reviews, but made these once following the recipe and they were a little dry. So the second time I added 3/4 cup butter and about 3/4 honey. They were much better and I like the bit more sweetness. Also the second time I added 1/2 cup wheat bran for added nutrition. I'll probably stick with the 2/3 cup butter, but keep the extra honey. Added walnuts, pecans and mini choc. chips. They are so good. I love them and so do my kids. We were spending a fortune on store bought chewy granola bars, now I'll make these more. I also love that there's no egg. You could just bake this as granola and it's yummy.

Big Guy Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
I used my own pie crust recipe, and used this "simple syrup" method but but instead of just food coloring I added a pkt. of strawberry flavored Kool-Aid. It was delicious and gorgeous. Some had mentioned that it wasn't sweet enough, but the Kool-Aid certainly took care of that. I also added about 1/4 cup more sugar and would probably just stick with the amount called for in the recipe, it was REALLY sweet but so good. I'm going to cut back the amount of cornstarch next time as it seemed a little too coagulated. My three boys and husband loved it as well. Took some pictures as this was one of the prettiest pies I've ever made. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I knew a lot of recipes call for gelatin and I was out so this was perfect. As many changed as I made, I still give it a 5 star rating.

This is a wonderful peanut butter cookie recipe. It is SO good! I added about 1 cup chocolate chips to it so each cookie has a little bite of chocolate. YUM-O!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2005
This was wonderful. I took it to a party and everyone loved it. Since it's winter, I used frozen mixed berries, just thawed them and cut them up and I used apricot preserves. It is so yummy. The chips I made went so quickly there is enough fruit left to try on waffles. YUM! Thanks.
