I made pizza tonight using this recipe for the dough. I used yeast, flour, sugar, salt, olive oil, water, shredded italian cheese, and pizza sauce. I can buy generic frozen pizzas at the grocery store for $3.99, but this tasted fresher than a frozen pizza and wasn't dripping with grease like delivery. Plus I can customize it with my favorite veggie toppings next time.
I used a cookie sheet because I didn't have a fancy pizza stone. I baked for about 45 minutes. Next time I make this pizza, I have to flatten the dough more. It grows, but it doesn't grow out, it just grows up! It was a little crunchy on the outside, which was good, but a little too doughy on the inside, most likely because I didn't flatten it enough. It was about 2 inches thick, so I named it Pudgie Pizza.
