Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2006
I cannot believe how wonderful these pancakes turned out. I will NEVER buy ready made pancake mix again! I added some pecans that I rolled around in melted butter then a sugar/cinnamon mixture and toasted in the oven. Delicious!!!!!

Apple Spice Dump Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2006
This was really good with ice cream. Lots of spice taste. In the future, I'll only make this if I'm serving a large group. A lot of it went to waste. :(

No Bake Cookies V

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2006
The perfect no-bake flavor. I used creamy peanut butter instead of chunky, and if you do that I suggest adding a bit more oats, as they'll be kind of thin.

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2006
Mixed reviews in my household - I give it four stars, my husband didn't like it at all, my son (5) barely picked at it, but both of my daughters (19 mos and 8) loved it. So it just really depends on how well you like chicken, mustard, mushrooms and bacon all mixed together.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2006
This was a huge success in my house! EVERYONE liked this meat loaf. The only thing I did differently was to saute the onions in butter before adding them to the meat. I prefer them to not be crunchy at all when the meat loaf is finished. I'll make this again and again!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2006
This is really easy and good! I did everything like the recipe says, except I put the shredded meat back into the crockpot with two bottles of barbecue sauce. It's delicious!

Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2006
These taste exactly like pumpkin pie! We didn't use the pecans and they were still great.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2006
Great recipe. Feel free to mess around with it yourself! I made my own breadcrumbs by adding six slices of bread to a food processor and adding italian seasoning and parmesan cheese to that. I also flatten the chicken breasts. I also used mozzarella instead of monterey jack. Everyone loves this served over spaghetti.

Creamy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2006
This was delicious but very slightly bland. Next time I am going to add cooked, crumbled bacon to the potatoes and I'll probably use cream of celery soup instead! Very good recipe, a definite keeper.

Orange Glorious I

Reviewed: May 16, 2006
We didn't like this at all. :( It definitely needed something. You can add cool whip to it to make it more like an orange dreamsicle, but it still needs SOMETHING.

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2006
I cannot stress how EASY these are to make! The dough is so easy to roll into little balls, and it doesn't feel all nasty and stick to your hands! I will make these over and over - VERY convenient for bake sales! I used different toppings; chocolate chips, mini-m&ms, cashews, and shredded coconut. Also EXCELLENT plain. Make sure you take them out when they start to wrinkle on top, because they won't look brown. VERY good!

Lisa's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2006
This cake got RAVE reviews! I am definitely saving this recipe. It's so easy to just throw everything into a bowl and mix it like that! I used a devil's food cake mix and when the cake was finished, I poked holes all over the cake and then poured melted frosting all over it. Then dusted with powdered sugar. Good stuff!

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
This was such a neat recipe! I used finely chopped pecans and omitted the raisins. I will take the suggestion of another reviewer next time and use buttermilk biscuits, as this was a tad dry. I will also pour the sauce between the layers. Excellent with coffee!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
Great flavor! I used cream of mushroom with roasted garlic instead of plain cream of mushroom soup and added a touch of worcestershire. I also used beef broth instead of water. The flavor was awesome!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
These were great! The muffin was a little mushy, I think next time I'll add finely chopped walnuts or pecans to the batter. The flavor was perfect and they were gone very quickly!
