Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: May 11, 2015
This recipe was easy to double. I think the hardest part with homemade pizza is knowing when the dough in the middle is cooked through. The pizza was best after it had cooled for a while and the dough had a chance to set up. I will use this recipe again.

Bonnie's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2015
I was also looking for a fruit dip without marshmallow crème. This one is fabulous! I made sure my cream cheese was nice and soft, beat in the sour cream and brown sugar until smooth. I did not add the white sugar as others had suggested. Then added the maple syrup and vanilla. For the whipped cream I beat 1 cup of cream with a tsp. of vanilla and a 1/4 cup powdered sugar until it had stiff peaks and then measured out one cup of it to fold into the fruit dip. It was an ugly pale brown color (think onion soup) so I added 7 drops of red food coloring. Next time I will add the coloring when I mix in the sour cream and brown sugar so it has a really nice uniform color. Nice and fluffy, but not airy. Perfectly sweet. Delicious!!

Buttermilk Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2014
These muffins are a breeze to make. They have just the right amount of sugar and a great chewy texture. They are the tiniest bit crumbly, but we make them several times a month they are so good!

Lemon Chiffon Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2014
This was a delicious white cake with a lemon pudding bottom. Very easy to make. A light enjoyable dessert. Followed the recipe as is (only I doubled it). As another reviewer stated my also was browned on top when it was cooked through.

Chocolate Cupcakes with Bailey's Creme Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2014
Great recipe! Made it twice, only change was a 1/2 cup butter. Turned out great. The third batch I made with 1/2 cup oil and they turned out great too. This will be my new to go recipe for chocolate cupcakes. Mine all cooked in about 17 minutes.

Zucchini Chocolate Orange Cake

Reviewed: May 14, 2014
Fabulous. Next time I would add the orange with the wet ingredients. I think it would be easier to mix in that way. I reduced the butter to just 1/2 cup and left out the nuts. It stuck to my bundt pan so I want to try using shortening instead of nonstick spray before I flour it and see if that helps, or try it in a springform pan. Flavor and texture were excellent.

Yummy. We added a bit of cinnamon. Would add a bit more salt to the dry ingredients next time.

Blueberry Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2013
These were ok; followed the recipe exactly. But they didn't have much flavor besides the topping, of which I had a ton leftover. Don't think we'll make these again.

Oatmeal Chocolate Coconut Chewy

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
These cookies turned out perfect. I didn't use any nuts, and put in a cup of cinnamon chips for the chocolate chips. Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Great recipe! They were done in 10 minutes.

October Oatmeal Pumpkin Muffins

These did not turn out for me. They didn't have any flavor and were quite dense. No one really wanted a second one.

Carrots in Dill Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
We steamed the carrots; then mixed up the butter, sugar, salt and dill (we used dill weed instead of seeds) in a little bowl and poured it over the carrots in the serving bowl. Even my kids liked them. This is a keeper.

This soup wasn't bad; but it wasn't great either. A little disappointing after all the great reviews.

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2011
These looked so fun and I finally had some extra time to make them. Next time I make them, I'll do it to use up left-over taco meat rather than making both meat and pasta then baking it too. I'm also going to try mixing up some salsa and tomato paste for the taco sauce and see how that turns out. Thanks for a great recipe.

Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf

Everyone in my family LOVED this. I think this will become one of our regulars. I did a ketchup, brown sugar sauce for the top instead of the rub suggested.

Cioccolata Calda (Hot Chocolate Italian-Style)

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
We also added vanilla and salt and did 3 tbsp of sugar. We were a little impatient waiting for it to cool down so we could try it so we added a bit of cold milk to our cups. It was still plenty thick and had more of a dark chocolate taste to it. We'll be making it again.
