Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2012
Oh this was wonderful! I actually multiplied this recipe by four as I needed them to feed a high school hockey team. I used one batch of the oil and exchanged the rest for apple sauce. Wish I would have had whole wheat flour because I like the flavor/texture it gives. These work great with any add-ons you want. I did some with frozen blueberries, some frozen strawberries, and some with chocolate chips. I skipped the raisins for preference sake. Thank you, they were awesome!

This recipe is so easy and so good! I don't even mind making manicotti with this recipe and it is fast to assemble.

Chocolate Scotcheroos

This recipe is awesome and one of my son's favorites. I did make a double batch and did add more chocolate and butterscotch chips. Either way they are great!

Stovetop Granola

This was awesome and easy. I added vanilla and cinnamon but other than that I made it exactly as written. I may never bake my granola again.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
These are excellent. The 1st time I made them I was out of honey so I used some of the other reviews and went with peanut butter. The 2nd time I made them more based on the actual recipe just used chocolate chips instead of raisins and that was by far our favorite. I will definitely make these again.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
These were awesome. I made them according to the recipe but sprinkled powder sugar on top instead of the frosting. I doubled the recipe and made it in a 11x17 pan. Thank you for the recipe!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: May 5, 2012
These were awesome and a keeper for summer when I don't want to heat up the house. Did follow others advice when making a double batch and only used 1 1/2 cups of butter. It was great, no problems with crumbling either. They are good right out of the fridge or at room temperature. Thanks for the recipe!

Peanut Butter Cornflake Crunch Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
These are so awesome and just what I was looking for. They are like a scotcheroo with cornflakes instead of rice krispies. I followed other peoples advice and only used 7-8 cups of cornflakes. I think they would be great plain but I did melt 1 cup peanut butter chips and 1 cup chocolate chips and spread on top.

Stuffed Shells III

very good recipe. I will make again. The only thing I did differently is added hamburger to the pasta sauce because my family thinks you have to have meat in your meal.

Roxie's Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
These are excellent. I, too, didn't heat the raisins in the microwave just added them to the milk mixture. Instead of using melted butter, I cut the fat by using apple sauce. Apples were chopped small as it was easier instead of shredding. Anything I did was minor changes, the muffins were awesome.

Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
These are so awesome! You truly do take them off the heat as soon as you see a bubble. It's always hard to for me too because I think I should wait but if you do take them off the heat they will be chewy. :)

Wow! I seriously was one of those that figured why make it when you can purchase one so inexpensively but there is no comparison. This is awesome!

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
These were super moist and good! I did what others said and swapped out some of the oil for applesauce and used whole wheat flour. I don't think it matters, I just like using whole wheat flour/applesauce to make them a little healthier.

Dad's Hamburger Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
I thought this was great. The first time I told my daughter I was going to make hamburger gravy she turned up her nose. She now requests it! I don't use sage only because my husband doesn't like it.

Aunt Gail's Oatmeal Lace Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
Just made these. The whole family thought they were were awesome! I used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown sugar like others had recommended. They do burn easily so watch closely. Also, if you take them out a little early, they will finish baking on the pan the cookie is chewy. If you let them bake completely in the oven, they will be darker and crispier. Thank's so much for a super recipe!

Bread Pudding II

This was great! I like the custard style it makes. The only thing I did differently was add 2 slices of bread as someone else had suggested. I used plain store brand bread.
