Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
Always a hit - the only change I make is to mix all the ingredients together instead of layering it. That's just too much of a bother for something that adds so little an impact.

Georgian Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
I can't put my finger on it but something just tasted off in the flavor combination. My husband, on the other hand liked it. But I won't be making it again.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Simple to make and yummy but there's just something missing, I can't put my finger on it but I'm wanting more - which is why it's only 4 stars.

Candied Kielbasa

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2004
I made this recently for a family get-together with a few known picky eaters. This dish was the favorite of the night. Everyone asked for the recipe, I almost didn't want to shre it because it was so easy. The only things I did differently was add worstershire sauce and make 1 1/2x the sauce instead of what was recommended. My folks sopped the sauce up with their rolls. Deee-licious.

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2003
My husband, previously a custard-phobe, L-O-V-E-S this pie. I do use a mix of half and half and milk instead of 100% milk and it is so creamy. Yum. This has now become a family staple.

Classic Spanish Sangria

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2003
This is now my staple for parties. I use Captain Morgans for the rum and lots of fruit, apples & pears. Yes they do soak up the rum but mmmmm are they delicious. People love my "happy apples".

Romantic Chicken with Artichokes and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
Anyone who says this dish is bland is not using good ingredients to start with. It all lies in the quality you choose to cook with. I have made this many times and every time I've gotten raves from my guests. It is absolutely delicious as long as you use, delicious marintated artichokes and a delicious white wine. Many people make the mistake of using a bland or cheap wine to cook with but you should NEVER cook with something you wouldn't drink and enjoy. I love it and you can quote me on that!

Spaghetti Squash I

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2002
We love this in our house. But I've modified it a little to better suit our tastes. Firstly I just put some puncture holes in the squash and throw it in the oven whole to bake -- it's much easier to cut when it's cooked and it's just as delicious. I also skip the olives and onion to give it a fresher less complicated taste. Lastly I use grape or cherry tomatoes, they're just nice and managable.
