Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
I didn't have an ice cream maker, and it still came out good! My only problem was the egg smell, overall, it was delicious! Thank you for sharing! God bless!

Cream of Mushroom Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
I omitted the thyme and chives, but I did end up sprinkling a little thyme at the end of cooking process. I added chopped spinach, thinly chopped tofu, and 2 tbsp of flour. It was absolutely delicious! My family loved it! Thank you! God bless!

Crust for Veggie Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
This pie crust tasted very good! I used butter instead of shortening, and it came out just fine. My only complaint is the black spots on the crust. Thank you for sharing this recipe! God bless!

Veggie Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
It was delicious, but it calls for way too much pepper! I cut the recipe in half, and I also made a few changes: 2 tbsp of margarine, 1/4 cup of onion, 1/4 cup peas, 1/4 cup corn, 3/8 tsp pepper, pinch oregano, and sprinkled garlic powder at the end of the cooking process (on the stove top). I used water instead of vegetable stock, because I didn't have it on hand, so I thickened it with a roux (1/4 cup of butter & 1/4 cup of flour). Thank you for this recipe, and I will be making this again!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
So far, this is the best apple crisp I have eaten! I only added a 1/4 cup of water since many reviews suggested it, and it came out just fine. I made the crumb topping ahead of time, so it would hold its shape, but it still turned into syrup. Next time, I'll freeze it. Anyway, thank you for this recipe! I will be making this again!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2011
This recipe is defiantly a keeper! I rated it a four star because I changed the recipe by following other reviewer's comments, and I also made a few variations. TIPS! I replaced the white sugar with brown sugar because I didn't have it on hand, and I added about 1/4 cup of flour to the streusel topping. I froze the streusel, so you could see the shape of the balls after it was done baking. I would recommend making the streusel before you make the muffin mix. I added a teaspoon of vanilla to the milk mixture, and I could taste and smell it, just to assure other viewers. I placed the milk mixture in a bowl and whisked it before adding it to the flour mixture-it will prevent over mixing. Next time I am going to add half the blueberries to the muffin mix, and place the rest on top because they fell to the bottom. I use cupcake liners because it saves me time and a mess to clean up. I ended up making 9 muffins instead of 8, and they still were huge. Enjoy this recipe and thank you Colleen!
