About this Cook
Mom of 2. Love working out with it comes a hefty appetite and love of food/cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Anything slow cooker and soups
My favorite family cooking traditions
German/English/French background has strong traditional ties around family gatherings and Christmas. My hubby is Puerto Rican so I'm currently trying to master some of their dishes and flavors.
My cooking triumphs
My family never fried anything and I just made fried coconut shrimp that was a big hit with the neighbors.
My cooking tragedies
I have issues with not cooking rice long enough. Bleck! Has happened 3 times and has always ruined the meal.

Best carnitas I have ever had! Topped them with cilantro, cheddar cheese, thin sliced cabbage, avocado, squirt of lime and a little salsa! YUM!
