Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
Very easy, good recipe. I used slightly more buttermilk than was called for, but it was a dry day here. Came out beautiful. Nice crust, inside was moist. Good flavor all around. When you make the 'X' in the crust, lightly score it - making a deep cut will have it pull very far apart as it's baking.

Colcannon Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
Turned out very good, with a nice flavor. I used 5 large potatoes (Costco size), and also put 5 crushed garlic cloves in with the potatoes. Next time I think I will add some bacon.

Devil's Food Sheet Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
I made this a few days ago. I followed the recipe almost exactly (I only used 1 cup of water, and I added 2 oz. of dark chocolate). However, I made cupcakes instead of a sheet cake, which I really don't recommend. The cake is so moist that it doesn't hold together out of the cupcake liners. They were very delicious though! Thank you for this recipe.
