Hungarian Mushroom Soup

This Mushroom Soup was great!! I always try new recipes exactly as written with the exception of the salt. I figure that you can always add more salt but can't take it out. I accidentally used 1 tbsp of lemon juice instead of the 2 tsps that it called for. It still turned out delicious. Will definitely make this again but I will double the recipe for leftovers.

Italian-Style Stuffed Peppers

The first time I made this recipe, I made it exactly as written. It is very very good! The second time around I added a bit more sausage, just because I had already thawed it out, and I used red peppers because the green didn't look all that great at the store. Still very good with more sausage but didn't really love the sweetness of the red peppers. Back to the green for next time. There are only two of us in my house so I freeze two more meals for the future. They do freeze well too. I would reccommend trying this recipe if you have been searching for a GOOD stuffed pepper recipe like I was until I found this one. Thank you for sharing!

Chocolate Bundt® Cake

Delicious. This recipe calls for an 18.25 oz cake mix. Can't find that size. I bought the 15 oz and didn't adjust anything else. I figured I would make adjustments next time if needed. It was still very good. At first I thought the batter might be too thin considering the difference in the cake mix size. I would definitely make this again with no changes except for only being able to find 15 oz mix

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

I never would have expected this recipe to work out. Boy was I wrong. I thought the spices were a wierd combination and the oven heat and time wouldn't work. Something in my gut made me give it a whirl. Yes the spice combination was different, but it was DELICIOUS! The cooking process made it super MOIST. An absolute winner in my house.

Baked Lemon Chicken with Mushroom Sauce

Delicious, simple and looks like a lot of effort went into this meal. I did double the Mushroom Sauce portion so we could pour on our rice too. I especially liked this because this recipe has what I refer to as "normal" ingredients (the basics) so not a lot of time hunting for rarely used spices. That is the main reason I like this site. Average people sharing their families favorites, for the most part, that are easy to follow.
