Nana's Slow Cooked Meaty Tomato Sauce

I've been making the sauce fairly regularly since I first tried it about 6 months ago. This is my ideal meat sauce. My 7 year old will ask for it and my somewhat picky 3 year old will eat it too. I will vary the ratio of sausage to beef, depending on what I have on hand. I don't use the spicey sausage (due to my kids) but will sometimes use mild. But its always good no matter what. Oh, and I do add a tablespoon or two of brown sugar because I can't help myself. (I like a sweet sauce!)

Freda's Cherry Supreme Salad

I thought this was very good. Easy to make. I made it for Thanksgiving but hardly anyone ate it (but that is not too surprising as this particular crowd doesn't do jello salads much). My 4 year old was put off by the top lemon layer - just a weird texture for him, I think.

Chicken Jambalaya II

Easy one-dish recipe. I will make this recipe again. I think this is a recipe you can (and probably should) add your own personal touches too. I made a few modifications to the recipe: added fresh garlic, used canned diced tomatoes (with seasonings), and added a little hot sauce. Next time I will probably make even more modifications even though it had a nice flavor as prepared.

Abby's Chicken Rollatini

Everyone loved this dish! I followed the recipe exactly except that I added sliced mushrooms to the baking pan. I think the garlic and butter in the middle of the rolls is what really makes this dish special. It isn't the prettiest dish but one of the best chicken dishes I've ever made.
