Four Egg Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2015
Exactly what I was looking for!!! I was looking for a pourable batter to make a Zebra cake, My mix method was the same as the video. I Followed all the ingredients listed - plus 2 egg yolks for added moisture. My cake baked up beautifully, however it shrunk considerably when it cooled. But the end result was a perfectly flavored, perfect crumb and very moist cake!!

Pork Steaks

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2014
Absolutely delicious!! We were looking for a different flavor than the same ol' seasonings, and WOW does this pack a punch in flavor!! Saved the green onions to sprinkle on top of pork when finished cooking, to me they have better flavor when they are fresh. You could easily use this recipe on just about any type of protein. Thanks for the share

Hummingbird Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2014
DELICIOUS!!!! I had to cut the oil 3/4 C. Oil, 3/4 C. Applesauce for Heath reasons. And I used the juice and all from the pineapple. SUPER MOIST. I also sprinkled cinnamon sugar "generously" on top of cake before baking. I made an orange flavored cream cheese frosting as a filler, and decorated with "Rick's special buttercream" cutting the sugar by 1 1/2 cups. The flavor combination is amazing. Thanks for the recipe!!! Oh, I baked in 9" round pans at 325* for about 50-55 min

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2014
My 13 year old daughter wanted to make dinner. She found this recipe and completely made it by herself!! The only part she did differently was to make the sauce in a separate pan, due to misunderstanding "in the skillet" This dish is nothing short of EXCELLENT thanks for sharing.

Lemon Pound Cake Cookies

Reviewed: May 27, 2014
Absolutely delicious!! Packed with lemon flavor!! I pretty much stayed true to recipe, as a personal preference, I baked at 350* for 10 min. I didn't have any lemon extract so I used 1 fresh lemon. Using the zest of a whole lemon and put that in the dough along with the juice of half the lemon in place of the extract. That made the dough too wet, so I just added a little extra flour until it looked right....about 2-3 Tbls. I also made a lemon drizzle: juice of half of lemon, 1/4 C. powdered sugar, 1/4 C. Heavy whipping cream and 1 Tsp. butter (softened) mixed with electric mixer on high speed to desired consistency. Cake like cookie, melts in your mouth!! Thanks for such a great recipe ;)

Colleen's Potato Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2014
These rolls are very, very good!! I'm giving 4 stars because you don't "need" to wait 8 hours in the fridge. for them to rise. First I cut the recipe in half and it made 16 nice sized rolls. I used my kitchen aid mixer. Mixed water, sugar and yeast until proofed...10 min. then with dough hook attached, added all other ingredients adding flour a cup at a time until blended on slow speed. Then kneaded on a board for appx. 10 min. put in lightly oiled bowl covered with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Punched down dough, rolled into log and cut into 16 equal pieces. Rolled into balls, placed on baking sheet, covered with plastic wrap and let rise again for 30-40 min. baked at 350 for 25 min. came out great!!! Will definitely make again, thanks for the recipe :)

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

Absolutely loved it!!! I did however follow other viewers suggestions and did 1/2 butter and 1/2 butter flavored shortening. I also did all vanilla extract instead of the almond flavor...just personal preference. Result...perfection in flavor, chewiness, and crispness!! Thanks for the recipe :)

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2013
Excellent!! I didn't have any raisins so that will come the next time I make it. The only thing I changed was in the instructions. I mixed the first part exactly as written, the second part after the simmering for 15 or so minutes, I mixed the remaining ingredients all in a measuring cup making sure to beat the egg very well. I then tempered it with the hot by very large spoonful's in measuring cup, then added to pot and cooked for another 5 minutes. NO SCRAMBLED EGGS, simply the best creamiest rice pudding!! Thank you for the recipe.

Kentucky Butter Cake

Reviewed: May 28, 2013
Absolutely delicious!! Didn't change a thing in the recipe ingredients, only change I made was to throw all ingredients at once in my kitchen aid mixer and mixed for the 3 minutes as suggested in the directions. Baked beautifully, oh and I did use pam spray for baking, worked perfectly. Thanks for this wonderful recipe, will be making this a lot. Can't wait to try it with some other flavor extracts as some other viewers have mentioned!! -Denece
