About this Cook
My name is Paige and I'm a tad obsessed with food at times. I love cooking and baking delicious and HEALTHY things. Why? Because I love food, we can all agree that it's amazing. And being healthy is of the utmost importance :) Although, I must warn that I am not by any means a "good" cook/chef/baker. I do love cooking and baking, but my talent is known to be lacking. I burn, drop, ruin, break, under-cook.... you name it, I've probably done it. I'm no professional, but that will not stop ME! Besides, you know what they say about practice.
My favorite things to cook
I absolutely LOVE bananas, so if I see them listed as an ingredient I'm highly likely to try that recipe. Seriously... no matter what it is. Because bananas have the magical power to make everything spectacular, at least in my experience.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking for Christmas<3

Banana Cookies
I thought that these cookies (or in my opinion, banana bread circles) were pretty delicious! Then again, I am sort of partial to anything banana flavored... :) I made them with two 3 year old boys, while babysitting. They had a blast mashing bananas for the cookies, and helping with the measuring and pouring. Afterward, they both devoured two cookies each. And me? They were so yummy I had four. Woops! If you're looking for a very textured or crunchy cookie, this may not be the recipe for you. They're pretty bread-like and soft (which I still loved). I only put in half the amount of nuts the recipe called for, because my mom isn't a huge fan of them. The cookies were nice and soft and definitely worth making. I think I might bake them again someday for a party! Thank you for the recipe!
