Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2003
Very tasty---I like the concept of the taco seasoning on chicken. Good served over rice. A simple, easy recipe that I will surely make again.

Italian Cream Cheese Pinwheels

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
These are good and very simple to make. They are definitely best right out of the oven though. I would make these again...

Easy Mini Quiche

These were pretty good. I used pumpernickel bread and cheddar jack cheese, and added chopped ham and some basil to the mix. Pretty tasty. I would make these again.

Chicken Danielle

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2003
I sauteed my chicken in minced garlic, used only cream of chicken (as I halved the recipe) and subbed sour cream for the heavy cream. It came out great! Very nice flavor and plenty of sauce. I served this over rice instead of pasta. Even the (hard to please) boyfriend liked it. I will definitely make this again.

Florentine Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2003
This came out very nice. I used a boneless breast which I pounded thin and stuffed. I had much filling left over so put that on top. I omitted the spaghetti sauce altogether. I also threw some sliced potatoes in the bottom of the pan. The chicken itself did not have much flavor, but I LOVE the filling. Needed to rub the chicken with spices first. I think next time I may just make this as a layered potatoes Florentine, b/c they soaked up the flavor beautifully! Overall, this was good and easy. Will use this again...

Aloo Phujia

This was pretty good. The tomato adds a nice flavor. I also added peas and served over rice, like a curry. Easy and filling! I will probably make this again...

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2003
Mmmm---I actually left out the mushrooms, chicken broth AND water, used a little less cheese and peas than called for and didn't bake this, but rather just served it right off the stovetop! It was great!!! Easy and fast---wonderful. I will definitely make this again! Thanks for the recipe:)

Tyson's Easy Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2003
This is not a curry like the traditional Indian curries I usually make, but it is very good! I used 4 chicken drumsticks and added a little extra curry powder, and some coriander and nutmeg. I used regular raisins, not golden. Served it over rice, topped with chopped peanuts, which added a nice flavor and a little crunch. Overall, this is delicious! I will make this again...

Sukiyaki Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2003
I thought this was a tasty dish. Fast and easy too. I used chicken and chicken stock and omitted the celery, and I threw in some cold cooked rice to make it more of a fried rice type dish. I liked the flavor combination of the spinach and mushrooms. Very good. I would make this again. Thanks for sharing!

Curried Ham Popover Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2003
This was very good. I used smoked turkey lunchmeat, which I diced, and I used about 2 tsp or so of curry, and it came out great! Very easy. I would like to try this with other fillings and seasonings as well. Plenty of room for variation on this one...Thanks for the inspiring recipe, Roxanne!!!

Pork Chops with Apple Curry Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2003
This was really good. The only change I had to make was instead of apple juice, I used raspberry lemonade (! that was all I had on hand :-P ) and it came out with a very nice flavor. Next time I think I will just throw everything into my slow cooker and that will make it even easier. Overall, a very good recipe!

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2003
True to its name, this dish is AWESOME! I only had 16 oz of broccoli and used Miracle Whip salad dressing, about 1/3 cup, 4 slices of Kraft American Singles sliced up instead of the grated cheddar, ommitted the salt and pepper, and it came out just wonderful. Mmmmm...I will definitely make this again!!!

Tasty Tuna Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2003
These "burgers" are great! I omitted the onion, salt and pepper, and used green pepper and maybe slightly more bread crumbs than called for, and these came out excellent! I got 3 decent sized patties, though, not four, but they were very tasty and are similar to my mother's salmon patties. Easy, fast and delicious. Highly recommend.

Holuski

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2003
This was very easy and convenient. I did not have any butter, so I used peanut oil. I also added garlic and used mini penne pasta. There is not a whole lot of flavor to this, but the salt and pepper helped. It is filling and quick to make with ingredients at hand, but nothing to rave about...

Asian Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2003
I left out the green onions and almonds b/c I did not have any...but the dressing and ramen really make the salad! It was delicious. I will make it again using all ingredients, plus I would add some shredded carrots to the mix for some color. Wonderful! Thanks for the recipe!!

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

I have made this several times now, sometimes using a whole chicken, sometimes just boneless breasts, and it always comes out great! This last time I added potatoes and cabbage to the mix, which soaked up the wonderful flavor nicely. Even my picky boyfriend liked it. Easy and delicious--Serve over rice. I highly recommend...

Peanut Butter Noodles

This recipe was easy and good. I left out the ginger (had none) and substituted red pepper flakes for the chili paste. Very tasty! This would be good on Ramen noodles too. I will make this again :)

Crab Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2003
Oh! This dip is to die for!! It is very rich and I disagree with other reviewers who said it was bland (!?). I used imitation crabmeat, chopped, fresh garlic, and per other reviews added a dash of lemon juice and a little worcestershire...and topped with shredded cheddar for the last few minutes of baking. I omitted the salt and pepper. I served it right out of the baking dish with Hawaiian bread and tortilla chips. YUM! It is fabulous. Will definitely make this again...
