Vegetarian Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2009
This dish was excellent! I used Yves ground round vegan crumbles and Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce. I added twice the amount of seasoning, plus oregano. I omitted the cheese. I used dry bread crumbs and I didn't use BBQ sauce to top, instead we used ketchup as we needed. Oh the way to get it to set is to cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. I cooked it in a rubber bundt pan. It was a beautiful ring loaf!! Very impressive and held up perfectly. I will post pics next time as it was eaten way to fast my family got three helpings!!! Great stuff thanks for the recipe! It is a keeper! Next time I will make it totally vegan with egg replacer.

Lentils And Spinach

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2009
The recipe idea was great, however it took a lot of extra seasoning to make it taste good. I used vegetable broth instead of water. I added mrs. dash regular, celery seed, cumin, white pepper and a red onion to pep up the flavor. After that it was a huge hit. The original recipe just needs some polishing.

Tofu 'Fish' Fillet Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
This really does taste just like fish! I used triple kelp powder and added flour to the dry ingredients. I also froze the tofu then defrosted in the microwave and squeezed out all of the water (as suggested by another reviewer)You must do this it makes it like a true fish fillet. I fried it in a small amount of veggie oil till brown. Then put them on a bun with tarter sauce, tomato and lettuce. I tell ya you cannot tell it isn't fish. Thanks for the recipe everyone loved it. I will be making it again soon!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2003
Great recipe ! After reading all the great reviews I made a batch. Except I changed a couple of things. I added 2 tablespoons of Nutella for the chocolate flavor and 1 1/5 teaspoons of vanilla and a touch of cinnamon. WOW !!!! Taste like peanut butter cups in cookie form .. Thanks I needed this :)

Banana Chocolate Chip Softies

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2002
I really like the recipe. The only thing that I did differently is I left out the chocolate chips. This simply made mini individual banana bread treats. My whole family enjoyed them. Next time I am going to try it with white chocolate chips. Thanks

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2002
This was my first shot at making a fruit salad and it was so easy and quick not to expensive as well. The taste was awesome. Although I think adding more mandarine oranges would really set it off next time. My family loved it. Thanks !
