Garlic Asparagus Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
I'm an Asparagus lover, so decided to try this. I didn't have fresh Asparagus nor green onions, but used dehydrated Asparagus and dehydrated onions. I rehydrated each in boiling water for 30 minutes and proceeded with the recipe as written. For part of the vegetable broth, I used the water that I had rehydrated the Asparagus in. Our guests and we found it to be very good and they took what little was left over home with them. Thanks for an unusual but very good soup.

Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
I did not find it too salty. I may have forgotten the regular salt or used Sea Salt. It is delicious. Much better than bottled or restraunant Blue Cheese Dressing.

Country Sunday Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2014
My selective eating husband loves it! The only change was to increase to 8 eggs. I think it needed salt, but that could be personal taste. I used dehydrated hash browns and onions because that is what I had. Rehydrated and it worked fine. It is a define keeper. Thanks bmatheson!

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
In the last few years I have fallen in love with green beans. I am over the hill for this recipe! Green beans were plentiful in our garden this summer and this recipe will be at the top! I made it just as written. I'm not sure what could have caused the reviewer to think it was bitter.? I would have added a photo but before I knew it they were all gone!

Apple Pie Filling II

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2013
Just like Momma used to make. I refigured the recipe for a canner full. I used an apple peeler but cored and sliced with an apple slicer. I was so glad to finally find a recipe using Tapioca. Thanks!

Barbie you nailed it with this recipe. This is awesome! I don't like curry, so just left it out. My tuna hating friend now makes this and takes it for her lunch. LOL

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2013
There was my Momma's cinnamon rolls which were delicious and then there are Cinnamon Buns. These are every bit as good as those sold in the airports! My husband doesn't even let them cool off! Great recipe! Thank you for sharing.

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
I've tried several hamburger bun recipes and I always come back to this one. Very, very good. I use the dough setting on my bread machine. I add a bit of the warm milk, water and butter to the whipped egg, just to make sure my egg doesn't cook. Works great! Thanks for this recipe!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
With all the reviews of this wonderful recipe, I was hesitant to add another. This is the easiest most impressive roll recipe I have ever tried. Once the dough is ready for the second proofing, you can be very creative in your roll shapes. Impress you dinner guest with the same recipe shaped in twists, crescents, or clover leaf rolls. I can not say enough great things about this recipe. Thanks Donna!

Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
My husband loved this recipe (me too). He requested it the second time. I used boneless pork chops instead because that is what I had. I didn't change a thing except I used dehydrated sage from my herb garden. It is definitely a keeper.

Sauteed Swiss Chard with Parmesan Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2014
My first time ever for Swiss Chard. It is not on the top of my list for something I want again, but that being said: the recipe is very clearly written, easy to make and it looks delicious. I did add a bit of precooked bacon (because it sounded good) and went to eating.

Cranberry and Cilantro Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
I'm so in love with Quinoa and its versatility. I like everything in this salad except curry and cilantro, so I went light on both. Still it didn't appeal to my palate. Just can't put my finger on why. Looks gorgeous in the bowl.
