Marinated Carrots

We really liked this recipe. It's very different from any other carrots we have made. It's really vinegary though...probably not for everyone. Don't make it for the first time when having guests...but thats my rule for every recipe. If its your family, and you need something different, try it.

Curried Cauliflower

My hubby and I thought this was great. I used low fat mayo and campbells 98% fat free cream of chicken. I also used three teaspoons of curry. I'm on a diet so I skipped the extra calories of the cracker and butter topping. This will be repeated.

Asian Glazed Chicken Thighs

We really likied this. I didn't have Asian chili sauce so I used Sambal Olek which when I googled stated it was pretty close. I doubled all the ingredients for more sauce except the soy sauce, (1.5) just in case it was too salty. I will be making this again.

It's Chili by George!!

My husband and I really thought this chili flavor was spot on. I followed the spice part exactly. I added an extra can of kidney beans and like some other people said I added two cans of diced tomatoes (rotel actually) and two small cans of v8. All I had was pasta sauce and I was nervous about it so I only added like a cup instead of a whole jar. I really think you can tinker with the tomato/juice element but the spice part of this is exaclty how I think chili should taste. I browned beef and then did crock pot on high for four hours. Worked great.

Artichokes Au Gratin

My husband and I thought this was pretty good. The only change I made was that I used frozen artichokes instead of canned. I won't be making it again but if you had it at your dinner party I would eat it.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Yum Yum!! I looked at the sauce ingredients and thought it was going to be bland but it wasn't at all! I used Sauvangion Blanc and am able to get the mini bottles. A mini bottle was about 2/3 of a cup so I added the whole thing. Both myself and my husband enjoyed this alot, cooked it just as is execpt only 4 pieces of chicken. Will make again but with the heavy cream only once in a while!

Greek Style Potatoes

AWESOME!!!!! The only thing is I boiled mine for like 12 minutes to cut down on baking, and I think they didn't absorb as much "juice" as they would have had I baked them longer. Next time, and there WILL be a next time, I will just set aside 2.5 hours to bake them. These are a total keeper and if restaraunt style greek potatoes are your thing, you won't be sorry with this recipe.

Roasted Garlic Tyrokavteri

Pretty awesome! My favorite greek place makes it with roasted red peppers and cherry peppers, so I omitted the red pepper sauce and added about 5 ping pong ball sized jarred cherry peppers. I also found mine creamy enough that I didn't add any olive oil or cream. I really thought this was great and will definately be making it again.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

I did not like this at all. With all the positive reviews I was super excited, but I will not be making this again. It was wayyyyyyy too vinegary, and I like vinegar. I even bought a more expensive vinegar in excitement/anticipation of this.
