Easy Lemonade

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
Okay. I added 1 1/4 cup of sugar instead of 1/2 a cup. It will probably taste better when its totally cold.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
Very good!!!!!!! I read a few reviews and decided I would only use 2 eggs and no baking powder. I accidentally took it out of the oven a little too early and it was really fudgey. But it tasted better that way.......... ( I think so, I haven't tried it cooked all the way. )

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: May 28, 2011
Very, very chocolaty! I added 3c. chocolate chips instead of 2 and 3/4 cup of almonds. The first batch was a little dry so we took them out sooner the next time. Very good!

Spaghetti Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
Tasted very good and we will probably make this again. The crust was a little hard on the sides so the next time we make this we will skip pulling it up the sides of the pan. It was a little more cheesy than I would have liked it to be but the day afterwards it was DELICIOUS!!! Thanks for a great recipe. Oh and we added spinach and left out the mushrooms!

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2012
This recipe was SO GOOD!! I rated this recipe four stars because before making this recipe I took the advice of the other reviewers and omitted the water, substituted salsa for the tomato sauce, canned chopped chiles for green peppers, (we didn't have red enchilada sauce)for the sauce I used spaghetti sauce with chilli powder, and shredded the chicken. I also (advice of the other reviewers)poached the chicken in poultry seasonings, chicken broth, cumin, and minced garlic.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
With a few small changes, this is absolutely the BEST meat loaf I have ever had! After reading other reviews I put the ketchup and brown sugar on top of the meatloaf, baked it in a 9 by 13 disposable pan, and (accidentally)left out the ginger. I will definitely be making this in the future!

Easy Guacamole

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2013
This is DELICIOUS!!! I took the advice of another review and used about two tablespoons of salsa instead of the tomato and onion. I didn't even wait for it to chill and it was still really yummy! Definitly will be using this recipe when I need a guacamole recipe!

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2013
This is a very delicious recipe! I didn't have any evaporated milk on hand, so I took the advice of another reviewer, and just used regular milk. I also did not measure out the milk, but poured about 3 tablespoons of milk into the bowl. My mom used to run a home owned bakery and she would put a pinch or two of salt in the frosting. This helps to make it not quite so sickeningly sweet. The frosting was a tiny bit on the runny side, but that might have been because I didn't use evaporated milk. I was using this frosting on cupcakes, so it didn't really matter to me that it was slightly runny, and it was also easier to squeeze out of the pastry bag. I really like how easy it is to whip this up, and I almost always have these ingredients on hand. I will probably use this again when I need a quick chocolate frosting recipe!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2013
These cookies (taste wise) were good, but just an average, run to the mill, good. They looked VERY nice though! I really like the texture - crispy around the edges, but chewy in the middle. I did double the salt (as suggested by another reviewer) and put in about half a teaspoon of vanilla in place of the hot water. I also put in a heaping teaspoon of baking soda and almonds instead of walnuts. I plan to try this again, because since I did change the recipe some it probably altered the taste from what it originally tasted like. All in all, I think the finished product is going to taste DELICIOUS dipped in a glass of cold milk! :)
