Ladybug's Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole
Fans of poppyseed chicken will enjoy this recipe. What makes this one different from my usual recipe is the layer of buttery crumbs on the bottom of the pan in addition to a layer sprinkled on top. Of course this modification tasted good but for my family, I'll probably stick to my usual to cut back a little on the calorie and fat content. We definitely enjoyed trying this version though.

Strawberry Cake and Frosting I
I made this for a family birthday and was very pleased with how it turned out. I used white cake mix and a 14 oz pkg of frozen strawberries that did not have any type of syrup. The cake was really moist and a very pretty pink color. By itself it did not have much of a strawberry flavor. I baked it in a 13X9 pan. I made 1/2 batch of the frosting, draining the juice from the strawberries. Everyone loved the strawberry flavor off the frosting and the little bits of fruit in it. The consistency was fine to work with for a 13X9 but maybe a little thin to do a layer cake. I would love to try this recipe in a bundt pan and make the frosting thin enough to drizzle down the sides.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
As written, I give this recipe mixed reviews but I do think it could be made into a 5 star with a few modifications. I used chicken broth instead of water and added more seasoning as many others have suggested. My issues are with the dumplings. I used Grands biscuits. They were still quite doughy after 30 minutes on high but were okay after 1 1/2 hours. My cooker has a metal insert and the dough on the outside cooked better than the dough in the middle. I found myself stirring them around for more even cooking. There was definitely a canned biscuit taste to the dumplings that the adults didn't care for but kids who love chicken and dumplings gobbled them up. Next time I would try making my own dough. I believe I've seen frozen dumplings in the grocery. I might try those or perhaps frozen noodles next time.
