Macaroni and Tuna Fish Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2013
I usually make this recipe for a quick lunch and dinner; except I add in a can of Hunt's or Del Monte's diced or stewed tomatoes Italian recipe. It add alot of flavor to this recipe and my 5 yo loves it. I also add vege's like peas, broccoli, sometimes carrots and a little onion. I like my food to have texture. I gave it 4 stars because it's a bit plain.

Apple Toast

I didn't have the issue of soggy bread like the others; but then I left it in the oven longer than I was suppose to lol. My 4yo loved helping me make it and the taste.

Hot Tamale Pie

At first I thought this recipe was too watery but when it's done you have something moist, heavy and very filling. Warning!! this recipe is the kind of food that makes you want to eat more even when your full. My family devoured this the two times I made it. I made this without the peppers as I had none and my 4yo doesn't like spicy food much, so I added a can of Hunts diced tomatoes with green pepper, added more cheese (about a handful, lol). The second time I added peas, onion and diced green bell pepper for texture. We are vegetable lovers here and I like to see a mixture of color on my plate. I will try a vegetarian version of this as the little one isn't much of a fan of meat.

French Veal Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
Love this recipe, though I did make a few changes to it. Taking some advice from naples. I used part broth and part white wine. I had no breadcrumbs or sage but did have croutons and bell seasoning. I crushed the croutons to breadcrumb texture and added the parsley, bell seasoning, garlic and Parmesan. It came out fantastic. I was not in the mood to eat but I could not pass on these.

Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
I'd like to know how anyone would consider this recipe healthy when there's so much sugar and almost 200 calories, aside from the fat content, per cookie. I give it an extra star for having oats in it.
