Very good. Everyone liked the stew. The red wine did a good job of flavoring the whole dish. Of course, pick a wine you really like and remember, if you wouldn't drink it, you shouldn't cook with it. There is no such thing as a cheap cooking wine. I used a Chateau St Jean Merlot.

Also check out the homemade Macaroni and Cheese. It beats the box anytime! It always taste better with cheese. And more cheese, and more, and more...

I agree with you 100% about the wine and cooking. If I'm cooking with wine,I use what we'll be drinking with dinner. Homemade mac and cheese - yum!!

When I was A Kid My Dad Went Out And Hunted For Dinner, Many Times It Was Rabbit Or Squirrel. I have also Had Porcupine, Deer. Now Days If it does not have a Bar Code On It I Will Not Eat It.
