Bread Pudding

Over the holidays I had the chance to try a couple of great recipes. One that was just outstanding was a “White Chocolate Bread Pudding.”  A buddy of mine made it for a office get together and he passed the recipe my way and while I’ve never made bread pudding before, this was quite good and easier than I thought. One note, the recipe called for placing a pan of water in the over with the pudding while cooking to keep it moist. Well I forgot! But it came out terrific anyway. So I’m not sure if this is really the secret to bread pudding or not but give it a try. Of course it could be our south Louisiana weather we had over the holidays that kept us all moist with all the rain we got. I did forget to take a photo of the pudding but did enter the recipe. Check it out and enjoy. One note of caution, you can’t eat too much as it is quite filling!

Love a good bread pudding! Yours sounds like a heavenly pan of YUM! My family is not crazy about bread pudding but I have a bunch of hungry lunchladies who would love it. Thanks for sharing.

The croissants plus the extra butter make a different bread pudding than normal bread that is delicious but also high on the cholesterol side. But good for a holiday treat!
